Eligibility Criteria for the Post – Indian Air Force
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : Age Limit for the post LDC, Clerk Hindi Typist, and fireman is 18 to 27 years and for the all post except LDC, Clerk Hindi Typist, and Fireman is 18 to 25 years.
Age Relaxation : Age relaxation is applicable only for reserved posts as per rules.
Educational Qualification : For Draughtsman GDE-III : Matriculation or its equivalent from recognized Board or University and Two years Diploma in Mechanical Drawing OR Civil Engineering OR Mechanical Engineering OR Electrical Engineering OR Draughtsman ship (Mechanical OR civil) from an Industrial Training Institute or equivalent recognized Institution.
For Clerk Hindi Typist : 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university. And A Typing speed of 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual typewriter OR A typing speed of 30 words per minutes in Hindi on Computer.
For LDC : 12th Class OR equivalent qualification from recognized Board or university. (ii) A Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English on manual typewriter OR A typing steed of 30 words per minutes in English on Computer.
For Superintendent (Store) : Graduate of recognized University or equivalent.
For MTD (OG) : Matriculation or equivalent examination of recognized university /Board. (ii) Must be holding a valid civil driving license for light and heavy vehicle.
For Fireman : Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board. (ii) Must have undergone training in Fire Fighting under a state fire service or a recognized institute of repute.
For Painter : Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the appropriate / akin field or trade viz Painter OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade, viz, Painter.
For MTS, Cook, Mess Staff, Safaiwala and Ayah : Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or Board.
For Vulcaniser : Middle School Standard pass OR Ex-Servicemen in appropriate trade.
