Never hit the gym with an empty stomach. During workout energy comes in the form of glucose, with empty stomach glucose is utilized from the blood sugar quickly, which cause blood sugar level down. Many feel fatigued while rigorous session as they have low blood sugar level.
Keep gap of 2 to 3 hours after a full meal. If the food is so heavy like Paneer or non- veg items, extend the gap half hour more.
A pre-workout snack should be eaten one/two hour before the workout. This gives your body enough time to process the food.
In pre-workout snack, you should stick to fast digesting and quick energy giving food. you can have, Combination of fruits like banana, apple and oranges Tea and Poha Sandwich without cheese or any heavy ingredient A cup of milk with toast Milkshakes
The next crucial step is stay hydrated. Because it helps to strengthen your metabolism. Sweating results in loss of body minerals like sodium, potassium and magnesium. So drinking only plain water can re-hydrate but can't replenish lost minerals. Add some glucose or salt to your water.
Avoid drinking water immediately before and after exercise as it might cause stomach-ache and discomfort.
Never go for heavy exercise in initial phase.
